GERONIMO STILTON, MUSEUM MEDIATOR FOR THE BRESCIA MUSEUMS FOUNDATION

Thanks to the collaboration between Atlantyca, WAY and the Brescia Museums Foundation, Geronimo Stilton confirms himself as an exceptional cultural ambassador and museum mediator.

Geronimo Stilton confirms himself as an exceptional cultural ambassador and museum mediator. In fact, he will be the protagonist of an innovative museum App-Game destined for the Brescia Museums Foundation that will be developed by the innovative SME Way S.r.l. The historical and artistic contents will be curated by the Educational Services of Fondazione Brescia Museums, while the adaptation in a “Stiltonian” key will be followed by Atlantyca S.p.a.

With Fondazione Brescia Museums for the first time ever Geronimo Stilton will be the protagonist of a digital museum APP-Game, an important innovation for the whole art world. The project takes its steps from a new concept and model of cultural offer starting from the desire to welcome and experiment with new digital languages with the creation of a ludo-educational interactive application. The APP will in fact have a game logic, children in the different museum locations of the Brescia Museums Foundation will be volved in a treasure hunt where Geronimo himself (who will appear to them in augmented reality) will provide the clues to solve the puzzles! A project that exploits the potential of gamification and one of its basic principles, that is to have fun while learning, as an innovative strategy.

Geronimo Stilton has always been a spokesperson for cultural projects and realities in the world of children thanks to his ability to transmit, in a fun way, positive values and cultural content otherwise difficult to communicate. Now, thanks to the project with Fondazione Brescia Museums, this commitment is also renewed in 2021 to involve both families and schools, since it will be possible to use the App in coordination with the content transmitted on the multimedia Lim used in the classrooms. The App-Game aims to encourage the involvement of different types of audiences, from families to the local public and to foreign tourists, given that the App-Game will also be developed in English. The App-Game will be the focus of projects focused on fighting the educational poverty. The scheduled date for the release of the App is summer 2021.
