Australian and New Zealand kids will go back to school in style this year with the first ever Minecraft school shoe.

In a deal brokered by Minecraft’s Australian and New Zealand licensing agency, Merchantwise Licensing, the extensive Clarks x Minecraft range for boys and girls comes in several colour ways including blush/navy, blush/white, black, navy/cobalt, black/lime, and black/white.

Available in both lace and self-fastening options, the range is now exclusively available from Clarks, Shoes and Sox, Myer, The Trybe and Hannahs.

Kids will love the subtle Minecraft detailing found on each shoe – from embossing on the Velcro strap, the hidden printed characters on the bottom of the shoe to the colourful innersoles.

Most excitingly, each pair comes in an awesome themed Minecraft box containing a hidden Minecraft collectible toy.

As the most popular video game brand amongst Australian boys and girls 7-14 years, there is no doubt these Minecraft school shoes are going to be the must-have hot property for Australian and New Zealand kids returning to school this year.  As the first ever Minecraft school shoe to be created, we are incredibly proud of this partnership which is being significantly supported by our wonderful local retailer partners, Clarks, Shoes and Sox, Myer, The Trybe and Hannahs,” said Merchantwise Licensing General Manager, Kerryn McCormack.

Minecraft, from Microsoft’s Mojang Studios, is the best-selling video game in history with over 126 million unique monthly players and over 200 million copies sold worldwide.

It is the most popular video game brand amongst Australian boys and girls 7- 14 years and is also loved by teens, adults, parents and educators alike.
