Since November 27th the menu of the famous and colourful veganburgeria has been enriched with the special Barbie Burger!
Barbie has always shown the girls that they can be everything they want, giving them the chance through play to play different roles and pursue careers of all kinds encouraging imagination, creativity, expression and self-discovery. The brand’s mission is to give value to the girls’ unlimited potential, so that they are aware that they can achieve whatever they want for their future. For fans of the most famous doll in the world, 2020 announces a fun and culinary surprise that mixes the game with a passion for cooking: Barbie’s Food Truck combined with a special Veggie recipe from Flower Burger.
The Foodtruck Barbie is inspired by real travelling trucks equipped with a kitchen to bring the goodness of food everywhere. A real accessorised van with which girls can travel with their minds and have fun creating tasty, healthy and colourful recipes, living exciting moments of lightness on the road with their friends!
But what would a Barbie burger taste like? Flower Burger, Italy’s first veganburgeria, has taken up the challenge and created a vegetable burger, exclusively for Barbie, in which the colour pink is the protagonist: starting from bread, made with Italian type 1 flour, coloured with beet extract, which also enriches the bun with its candied seeds. The patty, the heart of the sandwich, is a mix of lentils, basmati rice and vegetables such as carrots and courgette; the recipe is completed by Barbie mayo, made with soy and beet milk, and Barbie hummus, created ad hoc, with a pinch of sweet and smoked paprika.

“All grown-ups were children once. But few of them remember,” wrote Antoine de Saint-Exupéry in The Little Prince. That’s why Flower Burger decided to create with Barbie, inspired by the brand new Food Truck being launched next Christmas, this exclusive burger, with the hope that everyone can be guided by the child that each of us was and forget, even for a few moments, the external difficulties.
The exclusive burger born from this delicious collaboration is available in all Flower Burger in Italy until mid-February 2021: in store and through delivery, using the official Flower Burger app or through the food delivery platforms in the area.
Barbie has also decided to pay homage to some food bloggers who, together with their children, will receive her delicious Burger and the legendary Foodtruck at home and can have fun recreating the recipe in “doll size”.
