Redbubble and Warner Bros. extends licensing partnership argeement through end of 2021
Global artist marketplace leader Redbubble Group announced the extension of their partnership agreement with global entertainment company Warner Bros. Consumer Products. The agreement allows fans to continue creating and selling art inspired by Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, and Steven Universe through the end of 2021.
“Innovative licensors continue to seek new ways to amplify engagement with fans, and we are excited that Warner Bros. Consumer Products will continue harnessing the creative power of more than a million artists worldwide on the Redbubble marketplace,” said Eric Morse, SVP, content partnerships and general manager, global licensing for Redbubble. “At the same time, many artists are looking for a way to supplement their incomes at a critical time, so this partnership is a win for everyone involved, especially fans of these beloved shows.”
Through Redbubble’s Partner Program, artists create art within specific brand guidelines, that fans can then have printed on 120+ everyday, high-quality products. Since the program’s launch in August 2018, hundreds of thousands of products have been sold emblazoned with fan art from almost a hundred properties.
