“Tolo Tolo”, the fifth film by Checco Zalone, which for the first time in his career also covers the role of director, arrives on DVD and Blu-Ray from September 10, distributed by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
The film tells the story of Checco, who is not understood by his motherland, and is welcomed in Africa. But a war will force him to return along the tortuous route of the migrants. He, Tolo Tolo, grain of salt in a world of cocoa.
Among the extra contents of the film, able to collect more than 45 million euros at the Italian box office, we remember the video clip “Immigrato” and the backstage of the filming, which lasted about 9 months, from the first take in Kenya, passing through the desert of Morocco and Malta, until arriving in Italy.
Also starting from September 10th, on the occasion of the arrival in Home Video of “Tolo Tolo”, will be available on DVD the special box set with all the five big movie hits of Checco Zalone (“Quo Vado”, “Che bella giornata!”, “Cado dalle nubi”, “Sole a catinelle”, in addition to the novelty “Tolo Tolo”). On the same day, also on DVD, the special editions dedicated to Italian comedy with the Cofanetto Ficarra e Picone, the Cofanetto Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo, the Cofanetto Fabio De Luigi and the Comedy Collection are coming soon.
