ViacomCBS Networks Internation appoints Jaime Ondarza General Manager of Italy, France, Iberia, Middle East, Greece and Turkey and Alberto Carrozzo takes the role of Country Manager for Italy
ViacomCBS Networks International (VCNI) appoints Jaime Ondarza Executive Vice President and General Manager of Italy, France, Iberia, Middle East, Greece and Turkey. Jaime Ondarza will report to Raffaele Annecchino, President, ViacomCBS Networks Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
In his new role, Ondarza will have the task of optimizing operational processes, maximizing synergies between different countries and identifying new business opportunities.

Ondarza joins ViacomCBS Networks International with over 22 years of international experience in the media and entertainment industry. Ondarza has held long-standing management roles in a number of companies in the industry, including Warner Media, as Senior Vice President and Managing Director Southern Europe & Africa, and Boing. It was Ondarza who founded Boing, the free channel for kids created by the JV between Mediaset and Warner Media: following the excellent results achieved in Italy, Boing was later launched in Spain and France. Ondarza was also responsible for the launch of the Boing App, Warner Media group’s first AVOD streaming service designed for families.

As part of this new structure, Alberto Carrozzo takes on the role of Country Manager for Italy. Carrozzo, who will report back to Jaime Ondarza, will have the task of supporting him in local operations and for everything related to business in the Italian market. Alberto Carrozzo joined the MTV/Viacom group in 2007 and has held various roles over the years, including Director Financial Planning & Analysis in the Southern and Western Europe, Middle East and Africa cluster and later VP Finance & Strategy of VIMN Italy, Middle East and Turkey, coordinating the financial and administrative area of these markets.
Following these changes, Andrea Castellari decided to leave the position of Executive Vice President and General Manager of ViacomCBS Networks Italy, Middle East and Turkey to follow new professional challenges.
Annecchino adds: “We are sorry to say goodbye to Andrea Castellari who has decided to leave ViacomCBS to take other paths. I want to thank Andrea for his contribution in expanding our business in these regions. Andrea, who joined ViacomCBS 7 years ago, has played a key role in developing our business in Italy and expanding the distribution of our portfolio in Turkey and the Middle East. It is always sad to greet a leader like Andrea and I wish him all the best for the future.”
