Take the necessary sanitary measures to live again this year a season of fun in perfect Mirabilandia style!
The long-awaited 2020 season of the largest amusement park in Italy is about to start. From Saturday, June 20th the gates of Mirabilandia will be open again to welcome all amusement fans in the usual safety, adapted to the “new normality”.
Following the indications of IAAPA, the international organization of reference for the entire sector, and the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Park has adopted extraordinary measures for the restart. Now Mirabilandia is ready, after having worked non-stop in the last period to adapt to the new normality, with measures such as the definition of new ways to enjoy the attractions, the regulation of the entrances and the single rows, the adequate sanitation, the obligation to wear masks for staff and visitors, the organization of the shows, the distances inside the areas and the access to the refreshment points and shops.
Detailed health rules, for a serene entertainment for each age group. Inside the Park there will also be stewards, suitably trained, who will regulate the flows and therefore the quota of entrances and individual areas, to offer visitors the highest standards of protection of their health. In order to avoid groups, the online booking methods will be encouraged and suitable routes and signs have been studied to encourage the correct movements. In all areas there will also be dispensers with sanitizers. The adoption of these safety measures will allow you to enjoy, even for this particular season, the fantastic emotions that only Mirabilandia can offer.
There will also be news! Completely renewed the programming of the shows, with a brand new schedule. The magic of the musical “The Wizard of Oz” arrives at the Pepsi Theatre (with appropriately spaced seats), to the delight of adults and children, with a unique setting to live the fantasy of the Emerald City, in the company of Dorothy and her red shoes, a lion without courage, a heartless tin man and a scarecrow without brains. Not to be missed is the appointment with the most acclaimed stunt show in Europe, “Hot Wheels City: the new challenge”, which has always “electrified” visitors. To cheer the guests in Piazza della Fama there will also be the shows “Hook Rock”, to be overwhelmed by the rock wave of the famous pirate and his friends, and “The Wild West Show” with Far West atmospheres where two thieves will be unmasked by the dancers of the saloon. There will be the Guinness Book of Records adrenaline rush of Katun, the longest inverted coaster in Europe, iSpeed, the highest and fastest launch coaster in Italy, and Divertical, the highest water coaster in the world. Engines powered up in the Ducati World area which, with its 35,000 square metres, offers attractions for the whole family to experience the thrill of riding a two-wheeler.
“This year the long lockdown has made the opening of Mirabilandia even more eagerly awaited. We are committed to ensuring healthy and safe fun, because we are convinced that children, teenagers and adults deserve opportunities for fun in absolute light-heartedness, after the experience we all had,” says Riccardo Marcante, General Manager of Mirabilandia. “Wishing to offer Mirabilandia a high level of entertainment, as we have been doing for 28 years, we have decided to postpone the opening of Mirabeach until next summer. Our water park would require months of work to organize a reopening that would guarantee the highest safety standards, which would be almost completed by the end of the season. Mirabilandia is however ready to welcome its visitors with even more desire to give many happy and carefree hours, after difficult months“.
The 2020 season of Mirabilandia will start on Saturday 20th June (from 10am to 10pm) and will end on Tuesday 2nd November.
