Anne Stokes Collection in collaboration with Art Ask Agency, offers creative support during the Covid-19 crisis

Working with the top fantasy artist, Anne Stokes is always a pleasure and very refreshing for licensing agents Art Ask Agency. In comparison to working with other brands, working with an artist that has become a brand on its own, is quite unique.

Enjoying a long-standing partnership since 2009, they have almost become family. Many of their licensees are also with them since the very beginning. Leading players in different products categories, and well spread out around the world, such as; Zippo, Pyramid International, Herding, Nemesis Now, Ravensburger, Educa, Heraclio Fournier and Bradford Exchange, only to mention a few. Again, having the opportunity to work with licensees for over 10 years, with the same brand, makes Art Ask Agency feel quite unique.

We all face the current crisis in different ways and we are all challenged from a business point of view. Anne Stokes supports her fans and the public in different ways. For example, a new product launch of face masks, in collaboration with Wild Bangarang – the product of the year and maybe for years to come. Anne Stokes has donated 5 art works to the licensee who in turn donates the profit on sales of each mask to the NHS in the UK. The masks are not medical grade but will make your shopping experience or your outdoor walk a bit more pleasant.

Another initiative by Anne Stokes during this time of confinement and social distancing are the free colouring pages downloads of her art, posted on Facebook.

For those of you entertaining yourselves and/or your kids with our colouring pages during the lockdown, here is a new one for you made from my Gothic Guardian art. You can see the colours I used in the painting on a link or you can pick your own unique colour scheme. Print this off and then it’s always nice to see the results, so feel free to share them on the page here when you’re done.” – Anne Stokes on Facebook.

For the over 350K devote followers and fans on Facebook Anne Stokes also posts a new video every Tuesday. The content varies and also the surroundings but they are all very positive and true to her art and motto of “Bringing Fantasy to Life”. Exploring how the artist uses fantasy myths and legends in her artwork. The videos give some back story to the iconic artwork in the Anne Stokes Collection and an insight into the world of Fantasy Art. They also give some detail on how licensed products are developed from her artwork.

Fans are really engaging with the content and licensees benefit from their products being featured, alongside the artworks. The Art Ask Agency team, based in Barcelona, Spain, has now been WFH for nearly 8 weeks and are missing the person to person contact. “All the various online meeting tools are not quite the same. However, it’s fantastic that we have them and imagine if we did not have internet today!” – Maria Strid, owner Art Ask Agency.

We are all in this together and all the support and creativity from brands, licensees and friends is warmly welcome to make daily life more pleasant and bearable during the different stages of this confinement that we are all living across the globe.
