The virtual exhibition will be ‘visitable’ from 23 April, at the same time as the announcement of the fair’s online activity programme starting on 4 May
On the perfect occasion of World Book and Copyright Day, next April 23rd, Bologna Children’s Book Fair – the world’s leading children’s book fair organized by BolognaFiere – announces the rich program of virtual events that will be at the heart of the special online edition of the fair, which will start on May 4th with a series of activities that will last until the end of the year.
To inaugurate an edition that more than ever embodies the desire and ability to renew itself of a fair celebrating its 57th anniversary this year, on 23 April the new BCBF platform will go online with a special exhibition curated by Accademia Drosselmeier in collaboration with ALIR-Associazione delle Librerie Indipendenti per Ragazzi and built around the ‘meta-theme’ of books and reading: A UNIVERSE OF STORIES – Starring: The Book. Many publishers also wanted to offer visitors the opportunity to see and read for free their entire titles on display in the exhibition; links to the complete works are available on the exhibition pages.
