Minnesota-based Cubles into the licensing fold as the newest licensee for Little House on the Prairie® brand
Friendly Family Productions and Spotlight Licensing and Brand Management welcomed Minnesota-based Cubles into the licensing fold as the newest licensee for the classic Little House on the Prairie® brand.
“We live within a few hours driving distance of Walnut Grove, Minnesota, Pepin, Wisconsin and many of the other places in the Little House on the Prairie stories, so being able to work with this brand and these characters is a dream come true for us,” said Cubles inventor and CEO Joel Morris.
According to Spotlight Licensing President Carole Postal, whose agency brokered the deal, Cubles has been granted rights to create Cubles paper toys inspired by Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House on the Prairie characters and stories of her American pioneer family.
“We were impressed by the Cubles team’s mission to create eco-friendly paper toys that inspire and educate children through creative, hands-on play,” said Trip Friendly, CEO of Friendly Family Productions. “The Cubles paper toys strike us as a wonderfully modern re-invention of the paper dolls that Laura and her sisters used to play with, and we look forward to seeing a collection of Little House on the Prairie Cubles take shape for today’s families to assemble and enjoy.”
Cubles paper toys are made in the USA using strong and sturdy 100% recyclable paperboard. Color coded instructions and patented engineering make each Cuble fun and easy to build with no glue or scissors required. As part of Cubles’ earth-friendly commitment, for every tree used to make Cubles, the company plants 100 more.
