The Yo Yo twins are back on Rai Yoyo’s first ever TV show on April 20
Back with brand new episodes on Rai Yoyo, the animated series “Yo Yo” with the two characters born from the pencil of the artist Ugo Nespolo, internationally renowned Italian Pop Art vate, on the homonymous Rai channel dedicated to children, co-produced by Showlab with Rai Ragazzi together with Grid Animation (Belgium) and Telegael (Ireland).
The second season of YoYo, once again directed by the directors Stefania Gallo and Ernesto Paganoni and written by the Welshman Robin Lyons – twice awarded Bafta and with over 600 animated screenplays to his credit – together with a team of Italian and Irish screenwriters, includes another 52 episodes of seven minutes each made in 3D animation, of which the first 30 will be on air from April 20th at 3pm (Monday to Saturday), at 7.30am (Monday to Friday), every day at 10.35pm and on Saturday also at 9.50am.
Once again Yo and Yo, the two seven-year-old twins protagonists of the colorful cartoon, will find in each episode the way to get out with the imagination from their room breaking into fantastic worlds where, with the particular affinity that there is between twins (or between friends), they will overcome together in a funny and attractive way the most difficult situations.
A playful solicitation, for Italian children and parents, to overcome these times of forced isolation with the power of imagination because “two heads reason better than one”.
The series, which in its first season was one of Rai Yoyo’s most popular programmes, is the result of two years of work by a team of about two hundred people who, thanks to their well-established teamwork, have enriched its visual and narrative qualities and the rhythm of animation, making it one of the leading products of Italian and European animation.
