31 Mar - 2020

Simba Dickie Group appoints Alexis Delorme as the new Managing Director of Smoby Toys SAS in France

Simba Dickie Group announces the positioning of a new Managing Director at Smoby Toys SAS in Lavans-lès-Saint-Claude, starting on 1 July 2020. Alexis Delorme (47) has been appointed Managing Director of the company based in the French department of Jura.

In addition to his strategic activities, Uwe Weiler, COO of the Simba Dickie Group, has been managing the operational aspects of the business together with management colleagues in France over the past two years.

He is delighted to have been able to find the ideal candidate for this important position in Jura: “We deliberately took our time over this matter and are pleased to have found Alexis Delorme, the perfect manager for this key role. In addition to his substantial experience in the toy industry, including Giochi Preziosi and Mega Brands, he offers extensive leadership skills, energy and empathy and – last but not least – we are fortunate that Alexis Delorme even hails from the department of Jura! The perfect conditions to run an international business while being able to recognise and understand the concerns of the people in this very down-to-earth region.”
