Stefano Calcagni appointed as the new Head of Marketing of Nintendo’s Italian subsidiary
Nintendo, a leader in the creation and development of interactive entertainment, announces the appointment of Stefano Calcagni as Head of Marketing for its Italian subsidiary, reporting directly to General Manager Andrea Persegati.
Stefano Calcagni will be responsible for coordinating the marketing activities and communication campaigns for all Nintendo products, with the aim of increasing the value of the brand and furthering its expansion into the Italian market.
Calcagni, 40 years old, joined Nintendo in 2012, where, until today, he held the role first as Brand Manager and then as Senior Brand Manager for Italy, following all marketing and communication activities related to the entertainment of home and portable consoles. Calcagni, after an initial but important experience as a journalist at Il Resto del Carlino, in 2005 he joined the DeAgostini Publishing group, covering the role of Senior Product Manager, in the creation, development and marketing of new products for the Kids, Teens, Home Video, Cartoon and Music areas. In DeAgostini he also held the role of Rights Acquisition Manager in the acquisition and management of licenses for the development and marketing of products at international level.
