From the producers of PJ Masks, the brand new TV series RICKY ZOOM on premiere on RAI YOYO from September 30 at 6 pm
Ricky Zoom first time on TV on RAI YOYO, the show is about to take young viewers on a joyful two-wheeled world tour full of adventures, speed and rescue missions with a new friend, a snappy little red bike.
From Entertainment One (eOne), the study behind the global phenomenon “Peppa Pig” and the successful series “PJ Masks”, “Ricky Zoom” is a brand new animated series that mixes action, comedy and adventure, created by Emmy Award winner Alexander Bar, created by the Italian studio Maga Animation and the French company Frog Box, in co-production with Rai Ragazzi and the French broadcaster Gulli.
“Ricky Zoom” will be available as a preview on Rai Play and on the Rai Play Yoyo app from Saturday 14 September with five episodes.
Ricky Zoom first time on TV on RAI YOYO on 30 September at 6pm with two episodes entitled “L’incredibile imprevisto” and “Tutti per uno, moto per tutti!” and will continue from 1 October with two new episodes, every day at 6pm and again at 7.10am.
Built for speed, Ricky Zoom is a small red rescue bike that shares its experiences with its faithful Moto friends Loop, Scootio and DJ. They all have fun on the racing tracks, try out new stunts in the park and hurtle through the adventure! Ricky lives in Wheelford, a city tailor-made for motorcycles. The united community is always available to guide Ricky on the road to becoming a rescue bike. Whether the help comes from mom or dad, the mechanic or the police bike, Ricky and his motorcycle friends have all the support they need as they learn to ride on two wheels.
The show focuses on friendship, family and learning values that will involve children and parents. “The series really celebrates the fact that we are all so different, but we all have something special to offer,” says show creator Alexander Bar, whose previous children’s TV credits include “Mike the Knight” and “Ranger Bob”. “The series tells the everyday stories of Ricky and his best friends who love going out together, dreaming of being heroes and looking for fun and excitement on every occasion.”
First eOne production with Rai and an Italian studio, the Maga Animation of Monza, Ricky Zoom debuted at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival last year and was immediately a great success among broadcasters around the world.
Together with the airing, the Ricky Zoom app: Welcome to Wheelford will be launched, available in the app stores on Google Play and later on for iOS.
In this completely free app you can meet the characters, test their gadgets and get to know the fantastic world of Wheelford. An app full of fun mini-games and interactive playgrounds where children can learn the skills required to become a motorcycle friend. All for one and motorcycles for all!
