FUN Union, a Hong Kong based kids content production and distribution company with offices in Guangzhou and Beijing, has appointed LICENT company to develop BabyRiki brand licensing program in mainland China
FUN Union to develop BabyRiki licensing with a program that will cover a wide range of consumer products, publishing, games and apps, education centres and other merchandise categories.
BabyRiki is pre-school IP produced by Riki Group, a major animation holding based in Russia, which has entered the Chinese market in 2017 with the help of FUN Union and has been building up the presence and brand awareness with Chinese audience for two years achieving significant results on Chinese VOD platforms with total number of views going over 1,7 bln. BabyRiki brand supports balanced and comprehensive child development based on 4Q principle: IQ (intellectual), EQ (emotional), AQ (artistic) and MQ (movement), which is now recognised by international experts on child development all over the world.
LICENT is a company led by executives with a long history of introducing brands for children in China and experience of working with such giants as Disney and Hasbro. Mrs Toni Qiu, who is heading this venture, is a well-known and long-term industry professional who has more than fifteen years of licensing industry experience.
