Dr.Seuss Enterprises recently shares the exciting news that Emmy Award-winning actress Samira Wiley has been selected to narrate the audiobook of Dr. Seuss’s The Horse Museum.
This audiobook is an original Dr. Seuss story and the newest addition to his renowned library of titles launching next month. It will be available to readers via Penguin House’s Listening Library on Sept. 3.
Uncovered in Theodor “Dr. Seuss” Geisel’s home 21 years after his death, this latest Dr. Seuss treasure follows a lovable horse who takes a group of students on a guided tour of the horse museum, exploring all types of art and the various ways artists depict the animal.
Wiley, known for her roles on Orange is the New Black and The Handmaid’s Tale, guides listeners as they learn about the vastly different portrayals of horses in varying time periods, mediums, and unique styles, from ancient cave paintings to modern Impressionism and Surrealism.
