Da Hamstas of Happy Ink are ready to leave firm footprints in China

Da Hamstas are going to China. Hamsta World of Happy Ink is thrilled to join forces with LICENT in China, led by the acclaimed Mrs. Toni Qiu and co-founder Nikolaj Moesgaard.

Saskia Keiser, Hamsta Creator and CEO of Happy Ink: “It’s been our dream to get Hamsta World to China. With LICENT we found just the right partner for our precious pets. They understand our brand DNA and our vision. We will work closely together to build a solid foundation and bright future for Hamsta World in the Greater China Territory. I feel absolutely honoured to partner up with them and I can’t wait to conquer the Chinese market together.”

LICENT is a quirky and nimble licensing company with a very strong partner group. Heading this unique venture is well-known and long-term industry pro Mrs Toni Qiu who has almost fifteen years of licensing industry experience under her belt. Internationally she has made a name for herself working for Disney, Hasbro and for Mattel Greater China where she was the Director and Head of Consumer Products.

Toni is a long-running jury member of the LIMA China licensing awards. Earlier this year she received well-deserved recognition from China’s largest toy association “China Toy & Juvenile Products Association” for her outstanding contribution to the industry.

Co-founder Nikolaj Moesgaard is originally from Denmark but has spent the last twenty years of his career abroad. First in the UK and the US, but since 2006 he has settled in China and Hong Kong where he contributes a wealth of international management experience and a solid understanding of doing business in Asia.

“We are very excited about our partnership with Happy Ink. We absolutely adore the Hamsta brand and have no doubt that these cute, funny and unique characters will appeal to the young generation in China that craves good entertainment”, say Nikolaj & Toni.

Da Hamstas themselves are very excited about heading to China and can’t wait to start stuffing their big cheeks with some tasty Chinese cuisine!
