Get your run ‘n’ gun fix with new Contra collectible players launching soon
My Arcade and Konami Cross Media NY Inc. jointly announced a partnership to create a new line of collectible players for Konami’s run-and-gun icon, Contra™. Coming in two flavors, the compact desktop Micro Player™ and handheld Pocket Players™, the new products are slated to launch by the holiday season.
Contra is widely regarded as one of the most enduring and popular gaming titles of all time. Debuting in 1987, Contra became globally renowned for its high-octane, side-scrolling action and trailblazing co-op gameplay. With the introduction of the Contra Micro Player and Pocket Player collectibles, players can celebrate their passion for the iconic title and reignite the adrenaline with elite commandos Bill Rizer and Lance Bean in compact, playable form.
