Donald Duck’s very popular character made his debut on June 9, 1934 in the animated short film “The Wise Little Hen”, part of the Silly Symphonies
Since then, the world’s most famous duck has appeared in more than 150 short and medium feature films. Paperino, so renamed in Italy, is a versatile character who experiences both the joys of friendship and the frustrations caused by the futile hassles of everyday life and for this reason fans of all ages can easily identify in his many mood changes.
Donald Duck is Mickey’s best friend and is engaged to Daisy Duck on whom he constantly tries to impress. He has a big attitude but after all it’s easy to hurt his ego and every failure makes him feel rather frustrated. However, despite his adorable limitations, Donald Duck is a good guy with a golden heart and has a lot of fans all over the world.

- In the collection celebrating Disney characters, Hip Hop Watches has dedicated a watch
of its own to Donald Duck.
- The world’s most famous duck is the protagonist of an Original Marines capsule collection for boys and girls that will be available from next July.
- The Walt Disney Company Italia celebrates Donald’s 85th anniversary with the “DisneyComics Festival” in collaboration with the Mondadori Store. Ten meetings in a selection of Mondadori bookshops with some of the most famous Disney designers.
- For Autumn-Winter 2019 there will be a large number of brands offering capsule collections dedicated to Donald Duck;
