NEXT YEAR AGAIN IN SARDINIA
A record number, never reached before in the previous editions of the master organized by the European association Cartoon Media based in Brussels.
Cartoon Digital, the European master on digital animation, for the first time was held in Italy thanks to the initiative of the Sardinia Film Commission Foundation of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia. It closed in Cagliari on May 23rd after four days of discussions on the strategies of the digital world within over 250 participants from 22 countries.
The event in Cagliari had a strong green footprint, prompted by the sustainability policy promoted by Sardinia. Cartoon Digital was organized with the support of Creative Europe Media, European Union– European Regional Development Fund, Autonomous Region of Sardinia, Fondazione Sardinia Film Commission, Cartoon Italia, Rai Ragazzi, in collaboration with Mondo TV Iberoamerica. Event partners: CTM Spa, Casa Puddu Academy, Masoni Becciu Oil Mill, the Santa Maria la Palma Alghero and Su Entu wineries, the collaboration of the National Comics Center and of Sardinia Research and the media partnership of Licensing Magazine, Fred Radio and Radio X.
Cartoon Digital will return to Cagliari next year for an edition that promises to be even richer. Save the Date for Cartoon Digital 2020 from 25 to 28 May, in Cagliari, Sardinia!
