MasterChef Junior Bakes! is the follow-up to the successful MasterChef Junior Cookbook: Bold Recipes and Essential Techniques to Inspire Young Cooks, released in 2017.
Coinciding with the current season of MASTERCHEF JUNIOR, airing Tuesdays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, Endemol Shine North America, the producers of the hit series, have partnered with publisher Clarkson Potter, a division of Penguin Random House to inspire a love of baking in the next generation of at-home junior chefs, with the release of the second MASTERCHEF JUNIOR cookbook, MasterChef Junior Bakes! (Clarkson Potter | On-sale: October 22).
MasterChef Junior Bakes! will include a foreword written by MASTERCHEF JUNIOR judge Christina Tosi, the acclaimed chef, founder and owner of Milk Bar.
The 100 recipes in MasterChef Junior Bakes! celebrate creativity, technique and deliciousness, embracing simple to sophisticated and sweet to savory baked goods. Young bakers will learn how to cream butter for Vanilla Bean Sugar Cookies, shallow-fry dough for Glazed Jelly Doughnuts with Powdered Sugar, whip a silky chocolate ganache for German Chocolate Cupcakes with Ganache Filling and knead dough for cheesy Garlic Knots.
The cookbook will include the winning cupcake challenge recipe from MASTERCHEF JUNIOR contestants Malia and Jaala, for their delicious of Orange Spice Doodle Cupcakes with Cinnamon Buttercream frosting, in addition to recipes for Apple Butter Bundt Cake with Cinnamon-Sugar, Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Peach Melba Pavlova with Yogurt Whipped Cream and more.
