Gruppo Alcuni brings Leo da Vinci and its brands at the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair 2019

Gruppo Alcuni brings the brands Leo Da Vinci, Mini Cuccioli and Ballerina to the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair 2019. Also this year the Treviso animation company returns with a representative stand not only of its own creativity but also of its corporate mission, that is to put the child at the heart of every production.
In particular, in this edition large space will be dedicated to the genius of Leonardo da Vinci, whose five hundredth anniversary of his death is celebrated, presenting a preview of the series Leo da Vinci (52 episodes x 13 “). The cartoon, co-produced with Rai Ragazzi, will be broadcast on TV first-run starting from the end of 2019.
The new project of the production company tells the adventures of a Leonardo boy struggling with genius, creativity and typical adolescent problems and was born after the experience of the film “Leo da Vinci – Mona Lisa Mission” proved to be a great success in over 30 countries including China, Greece, Spain, Israel, France, Canada, Turkey.
Set in a Tuscan style of the ‘500, the “Leo da Vinci” series tells the story of the many adventures of the young Leo in the company of old and new friends like Lisa, of whom he is in love, and Lorenzo de Medici. He will find himself fighting enemies (pirates) and will try to fulfil his dream: to fly.
The brand’s licensees include Dolfin (Easter eggs), Gribaudo (publishing), Mondadori (publishing), OVS (children’s clothing 2-9 years) and Blasetti (maxi notebooks for the school).
Gruppo Alcuni will also present in Bologna Mini Cuccioli brands, shortly in first TV viewing with the third series, and “Ballerina”. Mini Cuccioli, series in animation with pre-school target, since 2016 is one of the main successes of Rai Yoyo. The first TV show of the third series is scheduled for the end of the year, reaching a total of 156 episodes of 6 ’each. Licensees include: Dea Planeta Libri (publishing), Dolfin (confectionery), Grandi Giochi (toys), Grani & Partners (3D), Sbabam (soap bubbles), Sgambaro (pasta) and several others.
Ballerina, the brand has become a great success in the world of licensing following the release of the film of the same name, a Franco-Canadian co-production Gaumont-Quad, distributed in Italy by Videa. Soon 2 new titles published by Gribaudo will be distributed in bookstores and in GDO it will be possible to buy the Dolfin branded Easter egg containing many surprises designed for all girls who love dance.
