New daily market share record of 23.7 percent for the Disney Channel thanks to “Miraculous Day”.

Miraculous is currently THE hit series on the Disney Channel! The special programming “Miraculous Day” brought the Disney Channel in the target group of 3 to 13-year-olds on Saturday, February 23, a sensational, new daily market share record of 23.7 percent in the Daytime. With this share the Disney channel was on the day among all children’s channels the number 1 in the German TV market.

The French animated series reached in the peak up to 0.27 million among 3- to 13-year-old viewers, and the best market share for a single episode was a very strong 39.5 percent. In the core target group of 6- to 9-year-olds, a new daily market share record of 28.7 percent was also achieved. It peaked at 0.15 million viewers and 54.4 percent for the best market share of a single episode that day.

Apart from the special programming, Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir averaged in the Access Prime in February a 21.7 percent market share among 3- to 13-year-olds and 32.0 percent in the peak. It was regularly market leader during its time slot among private children’s channels. In the core target group of 6- to 9-year-olds, there was an average market share of 29.0 percent in February, with a peak of 45.4 percent.
