Great success for the Maurizio Distefano Licensing Meeting

The annual summit organized by the agency to present the latest news and properties on the rise also rewards the best licensees

In the splendid location of the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan, on 6 March 2019, the MDL agency celebrated its innovations and at the same time the success of the licensing projects carried out, in an event that saw alternating on the stage, leading exponents of the International Properties that the agency represents. Thanks to the presence of the Licensors of the Properties managed, numerous licensees and the press, the event had a strong response from the public.
The convention was also an opportunity to present to the general public the new TV series that are about to be launched in Italy, Zafari, Gigantosaurus and Kit’n’Kate, which diversify and further enrich the panorama of the offer proposed by Maurizio Distefano and his team.
A special space was also dedicated to the presentation of Xento, the Made in Italy jewelery brand that creates tiaras for the main beauty contests, where the Elisa Muriale testimonial, formerly Miss Cinema, also showed.
The presentation was enriched by the presence of numerous Licensors who showed exclusive content and in absolute preview, in particular: Magdalena Biernat-Heikkinenper Rovio Entertainment, revealed curiosity about the sequel Angry Birds Movie 2, released in Italy in September, YaroPolyanskiy by Animaccord illustrated the upcoming exciting projects of Masha and Bear, TorstenGryska has told the power of the emoji® brand, Natalie Harvey introduced Bing, the tender preschool TV series that is having an extraordinary success among Italian children. The presentation by Federica Pitascioresponsabile program schedule and marketing of Rai Ragazzi was of particular interest.
During the convention the best Italian licensees 2018-2019 of Masha and Orso, Bing, Angry Birds, emoji® – THE ICONIC BRAND and ALVINNN were awarded! and the Chipmunks, for having developed successful licensing projects, both in terms of sales, and in terms of collaboration, aimed at presenting the consumer with absolute novelties.
The show of high fashion garments made by Filippo Laterza for Angry Birds was greeted with great enthusiasm by the public. An exclusive collection with precious details where the characters come to life in sumptuous clothes and precious finishes.
