On 6 and 7 May the Toys Milano will open again, an event promoted by Assogiocattoli and organized by the Toy Show, now at its fourth edition.
Toys Milano is becoming more and more important and this point is certified by the growing participation of operators: companies have gone from 60 in 2016 – the year the event was launched – to 115 in 2018, while visitors from 837 to 1,482.
2019 is also expected to grow, with the presence of over 130 companies and the expectation of 1,600 buyers from all distribution channels, from traditional trade first and foremost – in particular toy stores, stationery stores and bookstores – to main stream distribution and organized distribution. As far as the distribution sector is concerned, Assogiocattoli recently opened its participation in its ranks also to retailers, with the aim of creating more network among all operators for the benefit of the development of the sectors represented. A greater number of foreign buyers are expected at Toys Milano 2019, after an increase in promotional activity abroad.
Among the novelties of this fourth edition, Bay-B: an initiative dedicated to early childhood that includes not only a specific exhibition area, but a real communication project to highlight the childcare sector within the event . New is also the location: while remaining at the MiCo – Milano Congressi, Toys Milano will occupy a wider and more comfortable pavilion – all on one level in the South with an entrance in front of the “Portello” stop of the Metro M5.
