Five Star ratings for the ground-breaking new digital play experience, OOKS

The app, available across IOS and Android platforms, has seen over 80,000 play sessions being enjoyed in the first two weeks of launch with the average dwell time lasting up to 30 minutes – bucking the trend for mobile play.

Unrivalled new STEM App OOKS, designed to foster literacy and reading skills, whilst delivering unique and personalised play experiences, is celebrating a ground-breaking launch response with over 200,000 OOKS character creations to date.

Hungry for OOKS content, users have already charted an eye-watering 1m views on YouTube and exceeded a staggering 80,000 strong fanbase on POPJAM – and all prior to this summer’s heavy weight marketing push.

Noel and Luz Donegan are the creators of the app. Noel CEO of Zulleon enthuses; “We’re excited to be on track to make 2019 the year of the OOKS! Following this season’s trade fairs, we’ve signed up some incredible licensees and are bolstering our content pipeline further still with a full suite of webisodes and new integrated app content. Audience demand for the OOKS is exceeding all our expectations and the app is set to be preloaded onto 200,000 KURIO devices from April putting us on a firm trajectory to have over 8 million OOKS created by the end of our first year.”

The digital playground which empowers fun, story-telling and personalised reading experiences has also been hailed a stand-out success by teaching professionals and STEM ambassadors -with the app being certified with a five star rating from the Educational App Store.

Supporting the incredible demand is a huge amount of development in the pipeline throughout 2019, including 22 x 90 second webisodes airing on YouTube this summer and extra app games based on proven, winning game play formats, including an infinity runner platform and freemium activity games.

Following a robust strategy for growth which has seen the app downloaded in over 110 countries, the OOKS are lining up a portfolio of brand extensions and collaborations.  Licensee, Value Add Games, were one of the first to spot the untapped potential of the OOKS unique proposition.

Additionally, IconLogin have licensed the OOKS IP and created super-cute OOKS lock screens for Apple and Android adding to the full eco-system of fun and educational OOKS content which by year end will sit across personalised apparel, games, publishing and print on demand user generated content, with the primary goal of delivering fun content to children which parents and teachers endorse.
