Gormiti: a big success beyond the small screen

Giochi Preziosi and Pianeta Junior are pleased to announce that Gormiti‘s toys are proving a great success since the series was launched in Italy.
Starting from last October 2018 Gormiti has become the most chosen property in the Action Figuers & Accessories category. It was the brand with the best results in terms of turnover in the Christmas period and the best new property in the category. In fact, among the ten best-selling products, 5 belong to the Gormiti brand.
As for consumer products, the Gormiti licensing program is almost completed (90% of the categories currently covered), with 18 licensees on board as Panini, Ravensburger, Suncity, Mondadori, Preziosi Food , Sodico and Playpress. The official APP of the series is among the most loved by children, with more than 220,000 downloads and 5 million battles already fought in Gorm.
These excellent results of consumer products were preceded by great TV series performances on Rai Yoyo and Rai Gulp. The first episode of Gormiti was followed by 300,000 spectators and the series continues to be successful in all time slots (with peaks of 600,000 spectators a day, adding both channels). Gormiti tv series is broadcast every day on RAI Gulp and from Sunday to Friday on RAI Yoyo.
Giochi Preziosi is responsible for the Master Toy License and original creator of Gormiti, which was launched for the first time in 2005; while Planeta Junior is responsible for TV sales and consumer products worldwide.
