The only event in Italy dedicated to the licensing world: the 12th edition from 1st through 3rd April at BolognaFiere Fairground.
To complete the picture of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, also this year the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair (#BLTF19) is held at the same time. An exclusive event where licensors, licensees and distributors throughout Italy and Europe will meet with the opportunity to make networking and business in the field of licensing, a container where you can present your projects to the retail world and, at the same time, to update on the latest industry trends on collateral areas of digital & media, publishing and kids entertainment.
3.000 square meters (double than the previous edition) of exhibition space where companies can take advantage of many services including a pitchroom, or a location equipped with all the audiovisual equipment to launch and present new products or new brands; licensing seminars, in-depth analysis dedicated to current trends coordinated by the protagonists of the sector; a property guide, a digital tool for exhibitors who will communicate their brands to all visitors to the fair and visitors an essential guide to available licenses and market trends. Two exclusive lounges, a licensee lounge and a licensing retail lounge: the latter will present a VIP room dedicated to the increasingly numerous retailers attending the fair. The great novelty of the 2019 edition will be the inclusion of two new spaces for fashion trends and illustration applied to consumer goods, including ARTLicensing, an exhibition that will show a selection of products made by manufacturing companies in start of the images of the artists of the prestigious Book Fair Illustrators Exhibition 2018.
In addition to the exhibition area, the calendar of the BLTF 2019 provides, as usual, numerous meetings and presentations of the news, while an ad hoc section will be dedicated to the new frontiers of digital and social, with special attention to how the variegated world of influencers conditions the habits and propensities to the consumption of increasingly wider and transversal targets. And again, a focus on the new frontiers of retail and the changes to be faced to live up to the bets of the future and special attention to the fashion world, back from the positive experience of NiceLicensing at the last Pitti Bimbo 88.
