Patrizia Pepe celebrates the 60th anniversary of Barbie – Mattel’s iconic doll – by launching the exclusive BARBIE BY PATRIZIA PEPE capsule collection.
Patrizia Pepe celebrates Barbie’s fab sixties with a glamourous, colourful and fresh capsule collection presented in the Sala della Polveriera of the historical Fortezza da Basso. The partnership with the Florentine brand represents the first chapter of an exciting year for Mattel, with celebrations planned throughout 2019 starring the world’s most famous fashion doll born in Wisconsin on 9 March 1959.

The iconic outfits of the Barbie by Patrizia Pepe capsule collection have brought to life the “You can be anything” statement, an inspirational motto for girls world round. ‘Contemporary rock’ hippy is styled in a selection of exclusive fashions for the 2019 Fall/Winter Collection: a full array of tie & die fuchsia vibrations with hints of black, strass, sequin embroideries and pop-style prints.
A sweatshirt and a legging of the Barbie capsule by Patrizia Pepe, revisited in the mini version, are the selected items to dress Barbie. Little girls will be able to have fun reproducing their outfit on their favorite doll for a nice “doll & me” effect. This doll outfit will be sold exclusively in Europe only by authorized Patrizia Pepe dealers.
