TwoFour’s ‘What Would Your Kid Do?’ finds a home in India with GoQuest Digital Studios

5 Dec - 2018

The deal brokered with Twofour Rights sees GoQuest Digital Studios pick up the local rights to the award nominated factual format produced by the Twofour Group’s UK based Boomerang Productions.

GoQuest Digital Studios, the independent end-to-end boutique content studio backed by GoQuest Media Ventures has acquired the entertainment format What Would Your Kid Do? for India.

What Would Your Kid Do? is the top ratings format which challenges parents to guess how their children will behave in a variety of situations, merging specialist factual child development psychology with an entertaining gameshow mechanic.

Children are filmed in a real world setting as they go through a number of tasks that will explore everything from curiosity to lateral thinking, risk taking to rule breaking.

As the situations unfold, the host will observe alongside the parents as they try to predict what their child will do in each new situation, providing a fascinating, heart-warming and often hilariously surprising insight into the minds of children. Series one in the UK reached more than 3.7 million viewers and rated 18% above the slot average across the series.

Darshan Bhatt, Director of GoQuest Digital Studios said, “What Would Your Kid Do? is an exciting and fresh format. The show full of surprises, laughs and heart-warming moments has been a great hit. We are confident that it will be just as successful in India, a perfect addition to I the TV landscape here and be well received by audiences too.
