As VIZ Media Europe prepares for the television debut of the manga phenomenon My Hero Academia in Italy, a new agent has been appointed to represent the new generation anime brand to develop the consumer products program.
My Hero Academia, the new superhero anime phenomenon from Japan, is landing in Europe. The first season is about to start on Turner networks in Italy. The series counts already more than 63 episodes of 26 minutes (3 seasons), and many more to come.
This promising property announced as the new Naruto is already a massive publishing success with millions of manga sold in Europe. The new anime already available on VOD platforms is the top viewed series followed by a huge fans community on social networks.
VIZ Media Europe has named Starbright Licensing as licensing agent in Italy to introduce the franchise and build a strong licensing program.
The global franchise and brand ecosystem will include multiplatform Video Game to be launched this October 26th by Bandai Namco Entertainment, targeting a new generation of kids, teens and young adults. In addition, Dynit will be publishing the Home Video from this November.
