The Smiley Company continues to partner with leading high street fashion retailers to co-create cool summer and back-to-school children’s collections that resonate with parents and kids alike.
Children apparel and accessories have been growing tremendously for Smiley over the past few years, as top High Street fashion chains are looking to develop sophisticated ranges with the Smiley Original brand that created the trend for digital icons and its work with Reserved, Orchestra, C&A are examples of brands that continue to sell through collections. The latest work with Mango, Lefties and Zara is taking the Smiley brand even further.

Mango’s latest collection of SmileyWorld separates for children of denim, T-shirts and jackets are making a big impact within the children’s fast-fashion category. Through the use of inspiring slogans, vibrant colour palette and trending appliqués of metallic foil, rhinestone and intricate embroidery, Mango work with Smiley to push the production and design capabilities to deliver “hot quality driven” products that capture the latest consumer trends and maximise production lead time to help differentiate itself within the fast-fashion retail world.
Smiley continues to work with Inditex fast-fashion brand Zara, to co-create trendy best-selling collections, from bags to children’s separates, especially designed to target this young demographic. Reverse sequins and patchwork details have trended thanks to these collaborations.
Lefties and SmileyWorld have worked closely to co-create an exciting new cool footwear collection designed for summer adventures and back-to-school. The collection of trainers and summer slide sandals uses various executions of the SmileyWorld icons to help the brand expand its reach in children’s apparel and footwear, to be sold globally in stores across Mexico, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Spain.
