Toon-A-Vision debuted on June 19th and the service is available to cable subscribers across Canada on Eastlink systems.
BatPat, the animated series by Atlantyca, is now broadcast by Atlantic Digital Networks at the launch of Toon-A-Vision (www.ToonAVision.ca), the new free cable channel entirely dedicated to children and families that transmits nationwide from the Atlantic Provinces of Canada.
Expansion of the offer is planned with the addition of other cable and satellite systems in the near future, with the further integration of the offer that will be accessible via mobile, wireless and OTT.
The programming of Toon-A-Vision includes three blocks divided according to the target audience: The Lagoon (2-6 years), Eh-Vast (6-9 years) and Toon-A-Vision Tweens (9-12 years). Channel planning includes such series as Bat Pat by Atlantyca, Monster High, Pingu, Mighty 7 by Stan Lee, Space POP, The Hive, Skunk Fu!, Hareport and the Canadian series Chilly Beach. Among the other most popular Canadian series, Toon-A-Vision also offers its viewers I am to Dinosaur, Yam Roll and Maple Shorts.
