Exclusively available at JapanLA and Hey Chickadee, the CARE BEARS x PUSHEEN collection will be available April 28.
As part of their 2018 “Colors of Caring” campaign, iconic entertainment brand Care Bears™ announced an apparel collaboration with Pusheen.
CARE BEARS x PUSHEEN will launch on April 28 at JapanLA (a Los Angeles-based store inspired by Japanese and Los Angeles pop culture), online at www.japanla.com, and Pusheen’s online store – www.heychickadee.com. The collection will consist of tees, dresses and more – including sizes small to 4X.
“Not only are we very excited to welcome Pusheen to the Care Bears family, she is one of my personal favorite characters, who fits so lovingly into the ethos of Care-a-lot,” states Jenn van Haaff, Care Bears Brand Manager at American Greetings Entertainment. “It’s extra special that we get to work on a line with inclusive sizing, as we always feel there’s a Care Bear for everyone, and now this apparel line reflects just that.”
Claire Belton, creator of Pusheen, adds, “Care Bears have been such an inspiration for me and others around the world. I’m so happy to see this adorable collection come together.”
To commemorate the collaboration, Care Bears and Pusheen will be hosting a launch event at JapanLA (7320 ½ Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90046), on Saturday, April 28 from 11am to 6pm. Fans who attend this first peek of CARE BEARS x PUSHEEN will also have a chance to win giveaway prizes and get a free gift with purchase. Cheer Bear will be giving out free hugs to attendees from 11am to 2pm.
“We are so happy to see Care Bears and Pusheen together as a collaboration, especially on clothing. We love seeing these two amazing brands come together, and we are excited to have it debut at JapanLA” said Jamie Rivadeneira, owner of JapanLA.
Care Bears’ mission to make the world brighter will continue throughout the year as they gift Care Bears care packages to inspire others to share their care in color. Learn more here: Colors of Caring 2018 Playlist.
