The hit kids’ animated series adds new broadcasters in Italy, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania and South Korea.

APC Kids, the children’s entertainment distribution company of boutique financier and distributor About Premium Content (APC), has secured a number of significant deals with key international broadcasters for its animated kids’ series KID-E-CATS.

Having already launched in 148 countries on Nick Jr. since the end of November 2017, these deals will extend KID-E-CATS global presence further, following the sales to Turner’s Italian channel Cartoonito, HBO Spain, MTG Latvia & Lithuania, and C4U (Kids1TV) in South Korea.

Based on an original ratings-winning Russian series produced by CTC Media and Studio Metrafilm, this international version of the show is brought to life by APC Kids, which has brought on board Nigel Pickard as Executive Producer, as well as Ceri Barnes (FloogalsPostman PatCasper’s Scare SchoolGuess with Jess) as Story Editor.

Continuing as the one of the best preschool show in Russia with 5.6% ratings (Kids 4-6) on Carousel and 342 million views on Youtube, KID-E-CATS tells the story of three kittens: Cookie, Pudding and their kid sister Candy who are forever ready to jump into action with endless enthusiasm and energy. Their imagination knows no bounds, and these kitties are capable of the most absurdly funny problem-solving suggestions. Through life’s little lessons, they learn to look before they leap – well sometimes!

Lionel Marty, Managing Director of APC Kids says: “Having already established a successful viewership in 148 countries, we are excited to bring KID-E-CATS to additional territories, and to introduce this loveable, playful show to new audiences.

CTC Media and APC Kids will be exhibiting at Nuremberg Toy Fair at stand 71/F191.
