From January 31st through February 4th, Quercetti & C. will be exhibiting at Nuremberg Toy Fair, the most important international trade event dedicated to the toy industry – the Spielwarenmesse.

Every year Nuremberg is the international meeting place for the toy world, with more than 2,850 exhibitors and over 73,000 visitors from 120 countries. In this important context, the Turin-based company will present to professionals, distributors and retailers a catalogue packed of new products.

Place of honor will be destined to the new Pixel Art toy line, which goes alongside the classic offer of colored mushrooms invented in 1953. The company will present the new Play Wood, a line of wooden toys, such as Woody, colorful wooden animal shapes on soft plastic wheels. The child can push, move and grasp easily thanks to the central hole that acts as a handle. This line is flanked by the colorful Wroom plastic cars, to be carried out by hand. Among the novelties in plastic, a series of games to develop new skills and to build, such as Playform, colored tiles in two dimensions with which to build original “castles of cards”, the Mini Zoo modular shapes reminiscent of jungle animals. The Acrobats, the beloved characters of the circus in a toy version to stack and keep balanced by testing the ability of the little ones. And finally Ringo, rings and clips to be joined together to create whole worlds made of vehicles, animals or any element.

Quercetti marks with these products the way to take the toy for children. Not a structured idea, inserted in pre-defined schemes, but pure freedom. The child should not be limited to “follow the instructions” by reproducing something pre-packaged. On the contrary, the little ones must have the maximum freedom of expression, inventing as many solutions as possible.
