The successful YOYO preschool TV series has been on air since March 2017 on Rai Yoyo, immediately enjoying a great success among children and on the licensing front as well.
A little more than six months later its broadcasting launch, Rai YoYo, the homonymous twins and their trusted dog Ragoo, see their first products landing on the market. Since last 31st October over 150,000 packs of YoYo branded chips from Grani & Partners arrived on the shelves of large-scale retail trade, by far the first licensee to have firmly believed in YoYo.
The numerous Edicart products released at the end of October on e-commerce platform and are also on sale throughout the traditional retail trade; while Playpress released the first 5 Yoyo-branded publishing references for this Christmas.
Even these holidays will be dedicated to the two famous twins: for this Christmas Giochi Preziosi has started the distribution of an educational line of products with the “Puzzle change color” and “Learn to read and write with Yoyo”. For the Epiphany, they are planned to be sold stocks with special Led lights.
The results of a qualitative research focused on children have highlighted that the awareness among the public is almost total, 98% of children in the target know and watch YOYO animated series. These results have encouraged the beginning of a production of brand new 52 episodes to be aired on 2018, along with the release of new licensed products on the market.
Following an extraordinary launch in 2017, 2018 is also expected to be a year dedicated to YOYO.
