RAI animation: “Mini Pet Pals” go to China

“Mini Pet Pals”, the successful animated series co-produced by Rai and Gruppo Alcuni and directed by Sergio Manfio, has just landed in China

The 104 episodes of the first two seasons ​​will be available from November on the VOD platforms of the China, starting with Iqiyi, one of Chinese largest online video platforms (owned by Baidu, the most important engine of research in Far East), thanks to an agreement with Beijing’s JY Animation.

The Mandarin edition was made directly in China while distributors chose to leave the nickname in Italian, to make our language known to Chinese children.

Designed for preschoolers, Mini Pet Pals has the same protagonists as the lucky “Pet Pals” series distributed in 137 countries around the world, but younger than a few years. A playground is the backdrop to their adventures in which the six protagonists always learn some lessons.

Mini Pet Pals is one of the most popular and loving children of Rai YoYo children, who airs daily at 12.15 in groups of five episodes. Cardboard has got excellent listening from last year’s debut, exceeding 3% share, with over 490,000 audience viewers and over 25% listening to children up to 7 years.

The second season with another 52 episodes of 6 minutes, is currently in production and will be airing next year.
