As the awards season enters into full flow for 2017, The Smiley Company are delighted to announce and honor their partners who have made an outstanding contribution over the last 12 months to the licensing industry.

Held annually, the awards celebrate the best performing, most innovative and longest lasting partners across Smiley’s range of product categories.

Speaking about the awards, Smiley CEO Nicolas Loufrani said “This is a great opportunity for us to recognise the creative, fun, cool and positive products that our amazing licensees produce to make the brand what it is today. Our partners and the team at Smiley HQ do an amazing job of co-creating with retailers, designers and marketing partners around the world to showcase our brands lifestyle vision in order to show how we do it as brand. Most importantly we want to celebrate how our partners continue to make the world a happier place and that is ultimately why we do it.

“2016 was a record year of sales for the business, with turnover up 26% to $265 million and more than 24 million products sold all over the world by our 278 licensees globally. The happy news has kept coming for us and we were awarded Best Licensed Lifestyle Brand 2017 and this is because of the incredible efforts of our partners and the awesome team at Smiley HQ 🙂
