Hello Kitty is back at one of Italy’s loveliest beaches, ready to spend an exciting summer with all of her friends.

Sanrio, the world-renowned company founded by Shintaro Tsuji in 1960 in Japan, is bringing its lifestyle brand Hello Kitty back to Rimini (Italy) after her success last year at Boabay’s floating water park.

Hello Kitty’s famous motto – “you can never have too many friends” is at the heart of the “Hello Kitty Summer Friends” project, which gathers people of different ages together to make new friends sharing cheerful and unforgettable moments.

During the event families have fun at one the most beautiful Rimini beaches with a dedicated lounge area where guests can find dedicated Hello Kitty facilities and a complete Hello Kitty gift pack. To round off the experience, Sanrio has inaugurated the first Hello Kitty hotel room whose features and furniture are all Hello Kitty branded.

The “Hello Kitty Summer Friends” kick off took place on Sunday 30th of June, and featured a Hello Kitty Meet & Greet and photo shoot ending in a Cocktail Party. “Hello Kitty Summer Friends” will be at Rimini dedicated lounge area of Beaches 48 e 61 from Sunday 30 of July till the end of tourism season in September.
