Unveiled the new toy line of Ken® with the largest variety ever made!

The line broadening Fashionistas provides two new kind of Ken and still more styles for Barbie.

Barbie® has announced the expansion of its line Fashionistas® with 15 new and different Ken®, which include three types of bodies – Slim, robust and original – and an incredible variety of shades of leather, color of eyes, hairstyles and modern fashion look. The new Ken should be added to the already wide range Barbie® Fashionistas® toy line, making it the line of dolls with the richest diversity currently available on the market.

In 2016, Barbie has introduced three new silhouettes – tall, curvy and petite – together with new skin tones, color of eyes, hairstyles and countless clothes and fashionable accessories. The brand Barbie has always been the mirror of the times; modernize Ken represents the next step in the evolution of the brand to offer products capable of reflecting the diversity.

“Continuing to expand our line of products, re redefining the appearance of Barbie or Ken to adapt it to the current generation,” says Lisa McNight, Senior Vice President and General Manager Barbie. “The evolution of Ken represents a natural evolution for the brand and allows the girls to further customize the role they wish to assign it to the world of Barbie”.

The line includes 15 new kind of Ken with three different bodies -, seven shades of leather, eight dyed hair, nine hairstyles and modern clothes, from casual business to more sporty look. The brand also proposes 24 new types of Barbie. These dolls are in addition to the over 100 different looks launched within the line Barbie Fashionistas during the last 3 years.

The segment Barbie Fashionistas continues to exceed expectations, as demonstrated by the sales at global level with a double digit growth and the award “Doll of the Year” conferred at the annual Toy Industry Association Awards (T.O.T.Y. Awards). The diversity reigns supreme in content, in marketing campaigns and in the products, including segments as Fantasy, Entertainment and Careers.
