From the publishing group DeA Planeta Books, the new brand dedicated to the narrative.
Is born DeA Planeta, the new brand of DeA Planeta Publishing, dedicated to fiction: the result of the synergies between Grupo Planeta and De Agostini Group.
DeA Planeta Books is a publishing house operative since January 1st 2017, in which they are merged the brands De Agostini, AMZ, Abracadabra and UTET, already operating in the areas of kids and teens, essays and varies. With DeA Planeta it will be enriched the offer on the Italian market of a new proposal dedicated to all the kind of fiction: from thriller to female, from true stories to event books, by established authors or beginners.
DeA Planeta is a proposal marked by frames from the strong personality and oriented to the new trends, with a careful eye to the tastes of readers, always put at the center in the choice of the stories. “The point of force will be the international network that binds the publishing house to other realities of the publishing group of which it is part: entirety, transversality and rapidity of reaction will be the hallmarks of DeA Planeta“, says Daniel Cladera, at the guide of the new-co.
The first books of the new brand DeA Editorial Planeta will be published by September 2017. Among the proposals there is Sixteen Trees by Lars Mytting, the novel of the Norwegian author of the editorial case Norwegian wood (600,000 copies sold).
With the same imprint it will be released the novel winner of Planeta 2016 Award, Cursed is the name by Dolores Redondo, a tight family noir from an author that has been an editorial phenomenon in the last three months selling over 300,000 copies, only in Spain.
The deception, an overwhelming history of passions and revenge set in Virginia during the Civil War, is the novel written by Thomas Cullinan and released by DeA Planeta.
To highlight also the acquisition of the rights from all the areas of Planeta Group of Need to know, the spy thriller by Karen Cleveland, the most disputed title at the latest edition of the London Book Fair.
