From 2nd to 4th June, the village and castle of Gradara were transformed into the academy of the future fairytale heroes: Regal Academy!
10.000 attendees, 1 great event, 3 days, 7 laboratories, 3 live shows- the numbers for last week at the Castello di Gradara.
Over this long weekend, Gradara had a summer feel to it as it saw its population grow to 10.000 people in the town centre alone.
From 2nd to 4th June, the Gradara village mutated into the Regal Academy Castle – straight from the Rainbow animated series that airs daily on Rai Yo Yo – giving life to the Regal Academy Fairytale Party.
3 days, an intense weekend that saw families as the protagonists in a village that took on the look of the famous school.
Between dragons, lanterns, “royal” dance halls, and Regal Academy themed menus that were created by local restaurants, children entered straight into the magical world of the animated cartoon.
There were 7 courses available for little heroes to try out: a dance class, archery, dragonology, magic formulas, potions, art, and history of the fairytale. Each course was taught by a character from the tv show itself.
At the end of the courses, children were awarded their very own Official Diploma by the Fairytale Heroes of Regal Academy.
In the evening, with the backdrop of Armi della Rocca square, the Live Show took place with the protagonist of the series who entertained children with an embroiling production, which allowed kids to get to know their heroes.
The event, which was sponsored by the Marche Region, was made possible thanks to the collaboration between Rainbow – creator of such successful series’ such as Winx – the Gradara council, the Pro Loco Gradara Association and Gradara Innova, who had all worked together in harmony since October of last year, giving life to an unforgettable experience for families and their children.
