BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc., the creator and publisher of the ubiquitous PAC-MAN, is bringing back the nostalgic, iconic art of PAC-MAN in the form of a new Style Guide called “PAC-MAN Retro”.
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment worked with a team of in-house designers to expertly create the new style guide, which is comprised of a series of evocative artwork styles from the 80s that catapulted the game into one of the highest grossing licensing brands in history.
The PAC-MAN Retro Style Guide was designed in order to expand the creative options of licensees in the production of merchandise, and features the original artwork from the vintage PAC-MAN arcade machines as well as several other licensed goods that nowadays are considered collectors’ items and remain in high demand.
The latest style guide is clearly in touch with the game’s essence and shows how old-school styles can be used in new and exciting ways that are relevant to contemporary consumers and trends.
