New agency agreement between Mondo TV and Surge Licensing Inc.

Mondo TV Iberoamerica Group secures agency agreement with Surge Licensing Inc. for Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa.

Mondo TV Iberoamerica, part of the Italian group Mondo TV, announces the signing of an agency agreement with Surge Licensing, Inc. which is appointed as the representative for licensing and merchandising rights of the brand-new live-action teen series Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa for the territories of the U.S.A and Canada.

The contract with such a relevant partner as Surge, one of the most important agents in the region, represents the consolidation of the strong network of agents that will represent Heidi, now expanding to the North America market.

Maria Bonaria Fois, general manager at Mondo TV Iberoamerica, said: “We are very pleased and proud at the same time to have reached this agreement with such an important partner in the Heidi Bienvenida a Casa licensing program. We believe that Surge, with its great expertise in the field, is the ideal partner to growth the brand’s potential and expand this franchise. We may get great results in the near future from the exploitation of this brand.”

As a brand that transcends multiple generation, Heidi Bienvenida a Casa is ripe to play a part in children AND their families’ lives.”

Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa is a 60×45’ series written by Marcela Citterio and coproduced alongside Alianzas Producciones that reinterprets the classic children’s novel, Heidi, adding comedy, humour, and music with some modern twists for a moving and charming story the whole family will love.

The show has been launched in Nickelodeon Latin American last 13th of March and launches in the rest of the world between the end of 2017 and beginning of 2018. Future series have already been announced.
