Mondo TV Iberoamerica Group secures global partnership agreement with TV Azteca for Mexico.

Mondo TV Iberoamerica, a part of the Italian group Mondo TV, has secured a global partnership agreement with TV Atzeca for the broadcasting of its portfolio of popular animated TV content.

The partnership will see Mondo’s popular titles such as Sissi The Young Empress, The Treasure Isnald, Angel’s Friends, The Drakers, Gormiti y Dinofroz and the tween/teen fiction series Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa air across Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. The agreement covers the emission rights to open TV, in the newly launched channel A+.

The agreement will be made official in a final contract soon, development will be communicated to the market as soon as it is signed.

With a library of more than 700 hours of animated content available for US Hispanic, Mondo TV Iberoamerica continues to develop and distribute animated content while building its portfolio of licensing partners and agreements.

Maria Bonaria Foria, general manager at Mondo TV Iberoamerica, said: “We are proud to have reached this agreement with a partner as important as TV Atzeca. This strategic partnership represents a big growth opportunity for us in this key Mexican territory; it gives us the chance to reach a potential audience of 78 million families and represents a unique platform to reach the target of our derived products, as well as a challenging and innovative business model. Under this agreement, we look forward to achieve really positive results in the short-medium period.
