The first story, The Dragon Tamer, is set to hit shelves on 6th April. The series is a weekly edition with 25 releases full of new stories at a price of 6,90 euro.
With “The New Adventures in the Kingdom of Fantasy”, young readers can fly on the wings of their imagination to discover the emotional adventures of the “Knight in Shining Armour” as Geronimo’s friends call him in the Kingdom of Fantasy as they ask for his help to defend peace and harmony. In each adventure, Geronimo meets many bizarre characters such as fairies, elves, gnomes, witches, trolls and giants, to name a few.
At the end of each story, Geronimo reveals a piece of the Alphabet of Fantasy, to write secret messages, and offers fun games for his young fans to practice using memory and concentration.
Readers are set to be conquered by the reading experience as their imagination is stimulated by hidden words that represent the words meaning in shape and colour. From the rich and colourful images, children can dream with their eyes open as they discover the fantastic world.
The mouse journalist, Geronimo Stilton, is witness of a grand advertising campaign by Piemme and RCS entitled “Reading helps children grow”: the Corriere della Sera, with Atlantyca’s collaboration, launches the competition that is open to all young readers: “Tell a Geronimo Story”: from 6th April to 15th July 2017, young writers can publish their own tale online, with the help of an intuitive and fun tool that is available on the Geronimo Stilton site at: www.geronimostilton.com/leggere-diventare-grandi.
The best stories will be voted upon by the Geronimo Stilton community and 5 winners will be chosen by the panel of judges from the top 20. The five young authors will be awarded by Geronimo Stilton at a Milan event, during which some copies of their stories will be printed and bound.
