We find ourselves back in the year 50 b.c. Italy is under the complete control of Rome. All of it? No! Though Caesar is dreaming of a unified Italy, the peninsula is made up of many independent regions. Life isn’t easy for the Roman legionaries and on 26th October, Astrix disembarks in Italy. Prepare yourselves for a rocambolesc race across the Italian boot!

After Asterix and the Missing Scroll, Asterix and Obelix return with Asterix and the Race Through Italy, the brand new album by the talented Jean-Yves Ferri and Didier Conrad. Unfortunately for Obelix, the citizens of Italy are not all Romans at all! The Italics are trying to preserve their independence and do not see Julius Caesar’s plans for domination in a good light.
