Mattel and Victoria Licensing & Marketing will be at BLTF this year too (in Bologna from March 26th to 28th 2018) with an important booth to present the whole portfolio of Mattel brands, including Barbie and Hot Wheels which closed the 2017 with double-digit growth.
The main brands for this 2018 edition are of course Barbie and Hot Wheels, together with Enchantimals: the new Mattel property for girls. Fisher Price, Thomas & Friends, Fireman Sam and Bob the Builder are then confirmed in the portfolio.
Barbie closed the 2017 being confirmed as the 1st property of the fashion dolls market (full year 2017 data) with an important anniversary: 2019 will be the year when Barbie celebrates 60 years of history and inspiration for all the girls of the world. Therefore, PR events are currently being planned, alongside important with projects in the licensing area.
Good news from the Hot Wheels world too which is confirmed to be a growing brand and with the ability to adapt and fit itself into the different product categories. 2018 turns out to be a special year for the most adrenaline Mattel brand, thanks to the celebrations of its 50th anniversary: a lot of engaging initiatives have been planned to celebrate such an important anniversary!
About Bob the Builder, Mattel has reached a multi-territorial agreement with Simba Dickie Group as “master toy” licensee for the toy line, following the success of the production dedicated to Fireman Sam.
Moreover, Victoria Licensing will present the new Mattel female property Enchantimals, whose toy line has been launched by Mattel in September 2017 and has already recorded excellent performances, therefore it is ready to debut with a rich licensing plan for girls.
